Sally is a native of Minnesota and received her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1987, and is an "a" "v" rated attorney by the Martindale-Hubbel Law Directory.
Along with Paul Holloway, Sally founded the firm in 1991. She has gained significant trial and arbitration experience, handling a variety of cases including a wide range of general civil, commercial, governmental and products liability.
Sally's many clients have come to value her distinctive ability to distill the facts of a case effectively and persuasively resulting in a highly efficient resolution of their legal matters.

Subrogation / Large LossesPeter C. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Arizona and Texas Tech University School of Law. He was admitted to the Texas State Bar in 1991 and practiced law in El Paso, Texas for approximately one and one-half years prior to relocating to Arizona.
Pete has been board certified by the State Bar of Arizona in personal injury and wrongful death since 2000. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel from 2000 to 2005; from 2005 to 2010, Pete has served as an Officer with this organization, including serving as President. Pete has also been a member of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates) since 2011. From 2015 to 2020 Pete served on ABOTA's Board of Directors.
Pete is rated "a" "v" by Martindale-Hubbell, was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in 1993 and is a member of both the State Bar of Arizona and Maricopa County Bar Association, and has been selected to the Southwest Super Lawyers since 2015.
Pete was also honored as ABOTA’s 2022 trial lawyer of the year. -

Personal Injury & Wrongful DeathRyan P. Toftoy is a double graduate of the University of Arizona, graduating from the James E. Rogers College of Law in 1999. In law school, he was a Note & Comment Editor for the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law, and his student Note on international labor standards was published.
Ryan was admitted to the Arizona State Bar and the U.S. District Court for Arizona in 1999. Before beginning his civil practice, he worked as a criminal prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office in the Gang and Repeat Offender Unit in Phoenix, Arizona from 2000-2003. Ryan tried over 25 criminal felony cases to verdict and assisted in the convictions of hundreds of gang members and repeat offenders in Arizona.
Ryan's practice today focuses on construction law and construction defect litigation, general insurance defense, business and commercial litigation, wrongful death, serious injury, and small business formation and development.
Ryan is a member of the Men’s Arts Council supporting the Phoenix Art Museum and recently sat on its Board of Directors. He previously sat on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel and is a 32⁰ Freemason active in several local Masonic organizations.
Ryan enjoys masters swimming and classic cars in his free time.

Wrongful DeathPeter A. Boyle received his law degree from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, graduating early in December of 1999. Since his admission to the Arizona State Bar in 2000, Pete has always practiced in the insurance defense field.
Pete’s career has been marked from the beginning by his successes in court, where he has handled over 70 jury trials, including an October 2022 defense verdict in a 1.5 million dollar case in Maricopa County Superior Court. He has tried cases before Superior Court juries in four different counties of Arizona. Before joining Holloway, Odegard & Kelly, Pete was the managing attorney for GEICO’s In-House Counsel in Phoenix, before which he was a senior trial attorney for 6 years serving as In-House Counsel for Farmers Insurance.
Pete’s work has included defense of personal injury litigation, including wrongful death, and construction defect litigation. His experience also includes work in defense of insurance bad faith cases

Wrongful DeathRandy Sassaman is a native of Kansas and received his law degree from the Washburn University School of Law, where he was a member of the Washburn Law Journal, in 1981.
After working for a Superior Court Judge in Phoenix, Randy accepted a position with Holloway & Thomas handling liability defense, insurance coverage, and bad faith cases on behalf of insurers.
Randy joined Jennings, Kepner & Haug in 1987, where he continued to represent insurance companies and their insureds. He and two other members left the firm in 1987 and founded Raymond, Greer & Sassaman, P.C., where he continued to focus on personal injury, insurance coverage, and bad faith cases, both defense and plaintiff, until his withdrawal from the firm at the end of 2016.
Randy was pleased to have returned to his "roots," joining Holloway, Odegard & Kelly as "of counsel" in February of 2017. He is excited to be joining others who, like him, were mentored by Paul Holloway.
Randy was certified as a Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation specialist from 1996 to 2022, when he reduced his work schedule to enjoy more time with his granddaughters. He enjoys an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and has been selected to the Southwest Super Lawyers, Arizona’s Finest Lawyers, and Best Lawyers.

Stephen M. Hopkins | Of Counsel

Steve Hopkins graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois in 1982. At Knox, Steve played on the varsity basketball team and was co-captain of the team his senior year. He graduated from the University of Kansas Law School in 1985.
In law school, Steve was a member of the Moot Court Council and represented Kansas in a national mock trial competition. He was also the Associate Editor of the Kansas Criminal Procedure Review and Magester of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.
Steve was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in 1985 and is admitted to Arizona District Court and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Steve was an associate and then partner at Snell & Wilmer, where he was a member of the firm’s healthcare, product liability, and commercial litigation practice groups. He left Snell & Wilmer in 1995 to start his own firm, and was in private practice for twenty years, where his practice focused on complex commercial and personal injury litigation.
He was appointed by Governor Ducey as a Superior Court Judge in 2015 and served on the Court’s Family, Criminal, and Civil departments. He has been a member of the State Bar’s Civil Jury Instructions Committee, Criminal Jury Instructions Committee, and is a past Chair of the State Bar’s Trial Practice Section, and is a frequently requested speaker for continuing legal education programs on trial practice-related topics.
Steve is a mediator and arbitrator, and his practice today also focuses on commercial litigation, including construction, real estate, and business disputes, and well as wrongful death and catastrophic injury litigation.
Steve is a Senior Softball U.S.A. softball player, and an avid bicyclist and golfer, in addition to being a swimmer and certified Lifeguard.
